環保科技已經很先進
但是某些環保卻是很落後
諸如冷氣、汽油、用電，還有垃圾袋的「豪奢」使用
記得八年前剛到美國時，在賣場採買民生必需品，看著店員一條麵包放一個袋子、一個牛奶一個袋子、玻璃瓶裝物先用袋子包裹再分別裝入袋子......看的嘆為觀止！
那時台灣已經在實行自備「購物袋」，還有垃圾分類的制度，已經被調教出好規矩的台灣人，到了美國赫然發現，霸權下的美國人，連普世的環保觀念也有自己的標準！
慢慢的被同化的美國台灣人回到台灣後，在賣場、7-11像在美國購物一樣的採買民生物品......，結帳時就開始後悔買的太多，沒有習慣帶環保袋，不是把東西「抱」著走，就是得要再加錢買袋子！
大家都知道塑膠袋幾百年也不會腐蝕，所以是很不利環境的產物，加州已是美國數一數二力倡節能環保的州，不過仍不敵遊說團體的力量，州議會企圖成為全美國第一個禁用垃圾袋的州，不過提案在週二表決失敗。爭執重點在：政府應不應該干涉民眾過多自由......

Another effort in California to ban plastic bags failed in the Legislature late Tuesday night.
That measure, AB 1998, passed the Assembly in June and had the support of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger but faced a withering and well-financed advertising and lobbying campaign from the plastic bag manufacturing industry.California would have been the first state in the nation to have a full ban on plastic bags, a goal some environmentalists have been pushing for years.
"I think we missed a great opportunity," said the measure's author, Julia Brownley (D- Santa Monica), as the bill failed another Senate vote just before 11 p.m.
